Back in May, Opra’s makeover team offered him a complete make-over, even though his “costume’ is to draw attention to fight breast cancer. Besides these events, he does the Komen walks and other funraisers like “Monkeying around for Boobies”. In my book, he is a true home town hero.
IPN is thrilled to have sponsored the first Barcamp Sarasota, and in our minds, this was a huge success for the tech community, and Sarasota for being recognized as a technology hub. The people at the Sarasota Polytechnical high school were awesome hosts, and even allowed us to record some of our presentations…see below. Congrats to Sara Hand and her organizing team for a huge success!

Sorry, I know it’s been a while since I last posted something on my blog, but this one deserved my attention. I read a TON of stuff on marketing and now infomercial related items, and this blog, the As Seen On TV Fan is one I actually subscribe to. Yesterday, an email came in about a tie-in to the new Weezer CD with the Snuggie from ASOTV fame. This YouTube video has had nearly a million hits, and is a really well done spoof (but yet, not really!) on the Snuggie commercial. You see, this is actually a spot for BOTH the Snuggie and Weezer’s new CD! Brilliant! Well done guys, keep up the creative commercials, this is the only thing that will save sponsor based content!

I had to share this one with you. It is a new sleep aid, and life-changing invention from a Tampa company that we are doing business with. I beleive this will help all the millions of people out there with GERD, Sleep Apneia, and Snoring, or any of a number of other sleep disorders. This podcast was produced for socail media, to be released by IPN, but, I felt so strongly about it, I asked the Back to Sleep company if I could post it here.
